New Data grew out of DataStudent, where we connected students to real data work. The same question kept coming back from organisations and professionals alike, only ever in a different guise.
Why an ecosystem and not another contracting firm
The market is cut into separate boxes: a contracting firm for capacity, an agency for recruitment, a consultant for strategy and a community for the network. Anyone whose question cuts across those has to call four parties and do the translating themselves.
We put those four under one roof. If it turns out along the way that capacity should really become a permanent hire, we move across without anyone starting again.

Three routes in and one network beneath them. Which route fits is decided only once it is clear what is missing.
What we want to be judged on
We leave knowledge behind
Scripts, definitions and documentation stay with the client. An assignment is only finished when somebody else can carry it on.
Talent gets real work
No observer placements. Anyone who starts through us works on something that gets used, with support behind them for when it stalls.
We also say what is not needed
Sometimes the answer is one analyst for three months and no platform. That advice costs us revenue and earns trust.
The company behind the name
New Data is a trading name of DataStudent B.V., based in Rotterdam. All formal details — chamber of commerce number, VAT number and address — appear in the footer of every page and on the contact page.
