Which channels work, and which only cost money?

As long as attribution is unreliable, budget is divided on instinct and on whoever argues loudest. With clean UTMs, one agreement on consent and an attribution model that holds, you can see per campaign whether it should continue.

Do you recognise this?

What we do

We put the measurement in order first (UTMs, consent, definitions) and only then build the report that lets you give a go or no-go per campaign.

The work itself is described under data analysis and data quality.

Which route we do this through

New Data Student puts an analyst on the channels: clean up UTMs, rebuild the per-channel reporting and make visible what actually comes in. New Data Squad steps in when the attribution itself is in question, which model fits your sales cycle, and what you may and may not conclude from it. New Data Search finds the marketing analyst or data marketer you want to hire permanently.

Questions we get from Marketing

Why is our attribution wrong?

Usually because the measurement leaks before the model can say anything: UTMs filled in differently per campaign, consent asked only after the first click, and traffic arriving as direct when it is not. A different attribution model does not repair that; it moves the error.

Can we measure this without a cookie banner?

Partly, and that part is larger than most agencies will tell you. Cookieless analytics gives you visits, source and behaviour at page level without consent. What it does not give you is the individual customer journey. We say plainly what you give up.

What if we know something is wrong but not what?

Start with the New Data Scan: one day on site, fixed price, and afterwards you know where the leak is and what has to be fixed first. No obligation to continue.

What it delivers

These are indicative figures from earlier work and not a promise. What it delivers for you depends on where you are now.
